Participating in the Shabbat Sha'Buddies program is a wonderful opportunity to work on leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and give back to your Temple Israel community. We will provide you with suggested programming (games, activities, discussions, etc.) for you and your buddy, and Sarah will check in on your group throughout the program.

You will be assigned to a specific Grade K-3 child. It is very important that you do your best to attend each session so that you can be there for your buddy!

I understand the time commitment of being a Shabbat Sha'Buddy, and commit to do my best to attend the program every week on Fridays from 4:00-5:00PM (beginning in October).

I commit to do my best to attend the Shabbat Sha'Buddy training in September (specific date TBA), or will make up the training with Sarah.

I understand that as a Shabbat Sha'Buddy, I am a role model to my buddy and all of the buddies. I am committing to being an active participant in the Academy and other TI teen programs and presenting myself in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner in front of all buddies.

After-School Enrichment

Our after-school enrichment programs are a great way to supplement your child’s school day in a safe and age-appropriate environment. There are a wide variety of choices each semester to cater to your child’s individual interests.

Challah Registration

There is no more perfect way to celebrate the end of the school week and the beginning of Shabbat than with a yummy, freshly baked challah. Whether your child is bringing home chocolate chip or whole wheat, you will always be prepared for Friday Night with leftovers for French toast on Saturday morning!
