High Holy Day Children's Program: H2D (Grades K-5) & Yom Tov Tots (Ages 2-5)

We thank you for your interest in our H2D Project and/or Yom Tov Tots programs! The minimum age for Yom Tov Tots is 2 years old; unfortunately we cannot accept any children younger than that.

Our camp style format allows interactive and experiential High Holy Day learning while parents are engaged in services. Cost is free if registered in advance. A $25 per child fee may apply if a reservation is not canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Walk-ins will be accepted only if space allows and will be subject to a $25 fee.

Please note we are generally placing children into classes by age so that the content and the projects can be age appropriate. If you have siblings (or other family members/friend requests) that you would like to have us place together, please let us know ASAP. You can indicate on this form or email eclc@templeisraelnyc.org and/or education@templeisraelnyc.org

Every child will receive a nametag at registration and all staff members will wear one as well. This will help us identify everyone engaged in the program and also helps to foster community-building

Rosh Hashanah |  Monday, September 26

Cancellations are free if made at least 24 hours before the event. Cancellations made after this time, or no-shows at the event, may be charged $25 per child per day.
I understand that an adult 18 years of age or older (parent, sibling, aunt/uncle, close friend’s parent, etc.) must check in each child at the start of the program. No child will be permitted to leave the program at any time without an authorized adult to check them out.
We are working to update our Covid polices and will notify you as soon as they are finalized. As was communicated last school year, we are requiring vaccines for all students 5 and up and boosters for all students 12 and up; vaccines are strongly recommended for those aged 6 months and up. Mask wearing and testing protocols will follow soon. Our protocols around Covid health policies used by Temple Israel’s Religious School are based on the guidance of medical professionals, feedback from the Department of Health, recommendations by the CDC, and our Board of Trustees. As has been the case over the previous affected years, there have been revisions to the official guidance provided by the CDC and the state and local health departments, and some of our protocols will change to reflect that.
