The Hebrew word gesher means "bridge". This debut Pre-K program will be a bridge between the ECLC and Religious School!

Limud (Lifelong Learning)

This 1-hour enrichment class will be a dynamic and engaging exploration of Jewish music, stories and Hebrew. Gesher Pre-K will be taught by a very special ECLC celebrity... Molly Rose Hoenig!

Kehillah Kedoshah (Sacred Community)

It is our hope that this program will give the Pre-K students a taste of what they can look forward to in Religious School starting in Kindergarten. We also hope this will help your child stay connected to their friends and community at Temple Israel during a transitional time in their lives!

T'filah (Prayer)

We understand that many Gesher students will have older siblings attending Religious School from 4:15-5:45PM. As a result, after pickup at 5:15PM, Gesher students are invited to join Religious School K-3 T'filah with an adult. Religious School T'filah is a musical, interactive experience led by Rabbi Buyer-Witman and Sheldon Low, ending at 5:45PM.

After-School Enrichment

Our after-school enrichment programs are a great way to supplement your child’s school day in a safe and age-appropriate environment. There are a wide variety of choices each semester to cater to your child’s individual interests.

Challah Registration

There is no more perfect way to celebrate the end of the school week and the beginning of Shabbat than with a yummy, freshly baked challah. Whether your child is bringing home chocolate chip or whole wheat, you will always be prepared for Friday Night with leftovers for French toast on Saturday morning!
